Payment Policy

We aim to make your shopping experience with Spill Safe Storage simple and secure. Please review our payment terms below.

Purchasing goods

  • You must be 18 years or older to place an order.
  • We accept the following payment methods:
    • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay and Elo
    • Express wallets: Shop Pay and Google Pay
    • Klarna — pay later or in instalments, subject to Klarna's own eligibility checks and terms
  • The full list of available payment methods is always shown at checkout before you commit to your purchase.
  • We ship to United Kingdom addresses only.

Buying online

  • Browse our store and add the items you need to your basket.
  • When you are ready, go to the checkout to complete your purchase.
  • All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure, encrypted payment system. We never see or store your full card details.
  • If you think you have made a mistake with your order, contact us straight away and we will do our best to correct it before dispatch.

Prices and VAT

  • All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the current UK rate of 20%.
  • Our VAT registration number is GB987256073.
  • Delivery is charged separately at a flat rate of £18.50 per order and is shown in your basket and at checkout before you commit to the purchase.
  • The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order and confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Paying with Klarna

Klarna lets you pay later or spread the cost of your order in instalments. If you choose Klarna at checkout, your agreement for that payment is with Klarna, and it is subject to Klarna's own eligibility checks, terms and conditions. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Klarna in future. The goods themselves are still sold to you by Spill Safe Storage under this policy and our Terms of Service.

When a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order — for example because an item is out of stock, or a price or description was listed in error — we will contact you and offer you the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
